Frank Sartin is the person who connects the MASH Unit with all the outside organizations and committees, as the Community Relations Specialist. "During the early years of my life it was very difficult, the high school days became just that the high, high, high, school days if you get my drift. I became intangled with the streets that caused me to lose sight of my entire life, a downward spiral what a drag. After I began to look at all the family members that I let down, including myself, there was'nt no one that I could turn to but a loving God, who loved until I could love myself. My life began really taking shape when Mr. Henry English, and the rest of the Black United Fund of Illinois family gave me a chance to do something really meaningful to my life, and that was to take a stake in the community. Now I can really take pride in my work, myself, and my family members are in my corner in such a way that it only help me to move forward with my life. Most of all I am making a difference in other peoples' lives as well."
